More than 25 years ago, I joined my father and a part-time secretary in a small insurance practice located above a storefront on Main Street in Moorestown, NJ. From the start, we made a science of helping small businesses find the right health plans at the right price.

To be honest, we began with a pretty simple premise. We figured if we sold insurance to people, we ought to help them get what they paid for. So we worked one-on-one with employees, answering their benefits questions and helping them to get reimbursed from their insurance company. In fact, the name Reimbursement Services, Inc. was developed from this very idea. Truth be told, while employers loved the support, it also satisfied a deep desire on our part to be helpers and to make a real difference for people.

Over the years, we continued to grow by responding to the ever-changing needs of our clients, becoming one of the largest employee benefit agencies in the region. With everything from health plans to retirement plans, from wellness services to compliance, from employee communications to HR support, we helped to make benefits work more easily and more cost effectively for hundreds of employers.

Recognizing the need to provide our clients with even more, in 2008, we merged with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., one of the largest, most innovative brokers in the world. Operating as a branch office, our local Mt. Laurel team of nearly 100 employees is able to offer clients a breadth and depth of resources that once would have been impossible.

Today, RSI Gallagher is a full service national risk management firm providing a wide array of support services while continuing to practice the very same values that have set us apart from the beginning.
